Co-Founder/Lead Physical Therapist

Amy graduated from Texas Woman’s University in Houston in 2013 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After physical therapy school, she completed the Manual Therapy Institute Fellowship program in 2016 to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). She then became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) with the American Physical Therapy Association in 2017 and a Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS) in 2021. Amy served on the Board for the Southeastern District of the Texas Physical Therapy Association from 2017- 2023 and has been an active member of the association since 2010. Amy has been a member of the Affiliates in Physical Therapy family since 2016. She helped kickstart the Affiliates Prime clinic in 2020 before opening Affiliates Prime Plus in 2023. Prior to beginning her physical therapy education career, Amy attended Texas Tech University for her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and was a member of the Texas Tech soccer team.

She and her husband, Charlie, moved to Houston in 2010 and now have three sons. The family loves watching movies, playing sports, riding bikes, and spending time with extended family in the Houston area.

Co-Founder/Physical Therapist Assistant

Erich graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Sport Sciences and went on to earn his Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from Coleman Health Sciences in 2014. Erich gained experience working in a number of different therapy clinics in Texas providing care for patients with various neurological and orthopedic injuries. Erich’s passion for learning and expanding his skills have led him to participate in many continuing education courses. He joined Affiliates in Physical Therapy in 2016 and helped kickstart the Affiliates Prime clinic in 2020. Together they founded Affiliates Prime Plus in 2023.

Erich takes great pleasure in spending time with his wife and kids. He has two daughters and one son. He enjoys participating in numerous outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, hunting, kayaking and camping.

Physical Therapist

Amber Lowe officially joined Affiliates Prime Plus in early 2025 after moving back to the Houston area. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Belmont University in Nashville, TN (2012) after completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Texas Lutheran University (2009). Amber brings a lot of experience with treating orthopedic patients as a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS-2018). She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT-2016). Amber also has a special place in her heart for treating the running population and blends her knowledge of orthopedics with running analysis and coaching. In addition to run coaching for several athletes, Amber is often in training for her own half marathon / marathon races!

Physical Therapist

Victoria Hermann joined Affiliates Prime Plus in 2024. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2023 after completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University in 2020. She came to know the Affiliates family through a clinical internship at Affiliates in Physical Therapy while in physical therapy school. She is passionate about caring for patient’s wellbeing and making sure they feel heard and valued. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sisters. She enjoys playing tennis and running, traveling, and baking.

Occupational Therapist

Melissa is a proud graduate of Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1994. After graduation, she and her husband made Houston their home and raised two wonderful daughters. Their family also includes three energetic dogs! She is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys activities such as hiking, practicing yoga, cooking, and traveling. Melissa built her career in occupational therapy, practicing in a variety of settings including post-operative orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term acute care, and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. In 2004, she discovered a passion for working with patients diagnosed with a wide range of vestibular disorders and decided to focus her expertise in this specialty area. She earned a Certificate of Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation in 2007 and the LSVT Certification in 2009. With over 21 years of experience managing clients with vestibular symptoms, balance weakness, and neurological disorders, she is dedicated to helping clients manage or recover from complex inner ear diagnoses such as BPPV and labyrinthitis. She also assists individuals in adapting to disabling conditions like concussion, ataxia, stroke (CVA), and Parkinson’s disease. In addition, she has pursued advanced education to treat clients with neurological vision impairments, including convergence weakness and diplopia. She was excited to join the unique clinic and professional staff at Affiliates Prime Plus in 2025. As a member of this team, she looks forward to bringing an occupational therapist’s perspective to the many complications that cause adults to experience dizziness, lose independence, or become vulnerable to falls.

Physical Therapist

Jennifer grew up training at The Houston Ballet Academy. She continued dancing in college where she graduated magna cum laude from Butler University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Pedagogy. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2003. In graduate school, Jennifer gained valuable experience during an internship treating Broadway dancers in New York City. After graduation, she began her career at The Methodist Hospital with in-patient rehabilitation where she enjoyed the team focused approach to patient care. In 2006, Jennifer joined Affiliates in Physical Therapy under Laurie Johnson, PT, where she worked for 19 years gaining exceptional experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders. In 2025, Jennifer was excited to join the Affiliates Prime Plus team and proud to continue the legacy of treating patients one-on-one. In addition to expertise in treating all musculoskeletal disorders, Jennifer specializes in treating dancers, musicians, runners, low back pain, and SI joint dysfunction. Jennifer enjoys sharing life with her husband and two children. She enjoys the arts and taking vacations with the family.

Physical Therapist Assistant

John is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant after graduating from the HCC PTA program in 1995. He has been practicing for 30 years and has extensive experience in geriatric physical therapy care. He has also worked in a variety of other settings including sports medicine, spinal cord injuries and closed brain injuries at TIRR, wound care, and aquatic therapy. He has been director and interim director at various clinics as well.

When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and his family, which includes six siblings, two daughters, two sons, and two grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, fishing, nature walks, music, and always dinner with a good movie.

Business Office Manager

Kimberly has joined us to help with both our front office and back office operations. She gained extensive experience in both roles during her 20+ years at Affiliates in Physical Therapy and Affiliates Prime. Prior to beginning at Affiliates in Physical Therapy, she obtained her Associate’s degree in Health Administration from Houston Community College (HCC). She takes a lot of pride in providing exceptional customer service and she is excited to help Affiliates Prime Plus continue to grow and thrive! When not in the office, she enjoys modeling, travelling, and spending time with her loved ones. In her spare time, she also enjoys being creative and refurbishing old goods.
